Working in several mediums, Kerstin Zettmar has been most widely recognized for her unique style of fiber art. Pieces she calls Fibrations. Her subject matters range from outdoor to inner landscapes, often having a dreamlike quality reflecting mythological and spiritual themes.  She received her formal education at Phillips University, Oklahoma, Mullsjo Folkhogskola, Sweden and L'ecole des Beaux Arts, Aix en Provence, France. A native of Sweden, Kerstin has lived and worked in Newport, RI since 1982. Her artwork has been commissioned and featured in one person shows and sold internationally to  private collectors, churches and businesses.
